The laser liposuction technique that I have been utilizing for the last eight years has been an external laser technique, in which the laser is not only FDA approved for the use in liposuction, it is also FDA approved for pain management. So, the patient that is coming here to the office and the surgery is done in the office either under spinal or local anesthesia is treated with the laser before the surgery and after the surgery. The laser helps break up the fat and also weaken the fats and also the liposuction is more gentle, and the postoperative pain management is done, so that they have minimal discomfort. We have many before and after photographs on patients who have been thrilled with the surgery and has been able to go back to work in 48 to 72 hours.
